Nick’s
formal qualifications
include a National
Diploma in Vehicle
Engineering.
Nick also has
the real-world
experience of
20 years as a
race mechanic
with F3000 teams
Omegaland and
Durango, restoring
sports and vintage
racing cars and
3 years at Bridgwater
College as an
automotive engineering
instructor. Nick’s
attention to
detail and meticulous
preparation are
legendary, but
you need to see
and drive the
cars to really
appreciate the
quality of the
team’s work.
Nick
is married to
Sam and they have
2 small children,
Catherine and
James.
In
his spare time
Nick builds racing
cars, including
his Terrapin.
 Ken
Edginton
Ken’s
spent almost all
of his working
life in the aircraft
industry and served
his apprenticeship
at Vickers.
There
is very little
that Ken does
not know about
aerodynamics
and wing design
and fabrication. Ken
manufactures
the wings for
all of Edginton
Racing’s
own fleet and
also for private
customers.

joined us for
the 2006 Formula
4 season (his
rookie year on
proper race tracks)
driving our 1998
Zetec. He
moved to our Van
Diemen Formula
Renault for 2007
and will be driving
our brand new
Ray F4 car in
2008. He
qualified for
his first race
with the team
at Mallory Park
in March 2006
in snow!
Simon
is always willing
to help new drivers
coming into the
team.
In
real life Simon
is a commercial
lawyer. |
